"The Great Midwestivus II"
April 24-25, Plymouth, IN
Awards @ REES Theater
Kick off summer in the heart of northern Indiana as the Kayak Adventure Series heads to Plymouth, a classic Midwestern hub surrounded by quietly legendary bass water and old-school adventure. Within a short drive anglers can launch into a diverse lineup of fisheries - from natural lakes like Lake Maxinkuckee to the winding Yellow or Tippecanoe rivers, with backwater cuts, and smaller off-the-map lakes and ponds that reward exploration and smart decisions. Largemouth and smallmouth will yet again clash, so come prepared for both species!
This region is tailor-made for anglers who love variety. Clear natural lakes, shallow weed-filled systems, current-driven rivers with kayak-friendly access points that all come into play, creating a true “choose your own adventure” event where strategy matters as much as skill.
Beyond the fishing, Plymouth delivers that welcoming, small-town Midwest feel that makes tournament week special for anglers and families alike. Enjoy local restaurants, walkable downtown streets, and nearby parks and trails that make it easy to unwind after long days on the water. Just a short drive away, you’ll also find lakeside beaches, historic sites, and plenty of outdoor recreation options for anyone tagging along.
Our Closing Ceremony meet up - complete with food, music, games, kayak demos, Toyota truck displays - will be held at The Yellow River Taphouse, with the final Awards Ceremony inside the historic and newly renovated REES Theater, where we’ll relive the weekend’s biggest moments through GoPro-shot highlights on the big screen.
Come experience northern Indiana bass fishing at its finest, embrace the adventure, and write your own KAS story in Plymouth - where classic waters meet modern kayak competition.
